An online Service Appointment Scheduler interface for OEM Dealerships
Service Edge Consumer Appointment App, also known as SECA is an online vehicle service scheduler that captures the minimum User identification touchpoints to satisfy Dealer requirements. This user interface collapses to accomodate for mobile and desktop and delineates each specific step using large clear buttons, outputs and distinct layouts.
This approach to use large buttons was to evoke friendliness and ease of use, however expansion components and drop downs were still necessary to accomodate the layout.
In retrospect, this workflow could have been simplified to fewer steps.
My involvement in this project was as the Principle Product Designer working with the SECA Product Owner. This interface was presented for demo and accepted for developement. However, during this time the company would later purchase and merge with a competing company and a new online scheduler would ultimately be implemented.
